Bringing over 10 years of experience as a former owner and operator of another well-known and highly successful Certified Organic fruit tee and berry nursery located in KY, Rachel Palacios has now branched out and set down her own roots with Beautiful Beginnings Nursery. As an urban nursery and farm, we have a passion and a necessity to grow a lot on a little while using the least amount of inputs, generating the least amount of waste and following the least disruptive farming practices as possible. In fact, it is our goal to make the Earth a better place through our business. To do this, we employ different permaculture techniques and all-natural practices that allow us to work in close harmony with the Earth (and our neighbors) and which empower us to excel at what we do and allow us to feel good about the services we provide and the ways in which we provide them.

Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence & Advocating for Mental Health
At Beautiful Beginnings Nursery, we are dedicated to empowering individuals to create their own beautiful beginnings after overcoming the challenges of domestic violence. The impact that such experiences can have on a person’s mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being are profound. That’s why a portion of our proceeds goes toward supporting local organizations that work hand-in-hand with survivors in our community. Together, we strive to advocate for the mental health and well-being of both survivors and their children, with the hope to help foster a brighter future and a new, beautiful beginning for others.
