Benny’s Favorite (275-56): A Premier Choice

A cross between “Prolific” x “Sam Norris-15”, achieved by the great Jerry Lehman of Terre Haute, IN, “Benny’s Favorite” definitely has what it takes to become any and everyone’s favorite.

Best known for the fruits’ exquisitely refined classic pawpaw flavor and creamy, custard-like texture, it has become a regular winner in pawpaw taste-tests, including the Ohio Pawpaw Festival.

The trees bear medium-large sized fruits but “Benny’s Favorite” is not trying to impress with size; Its “wow-factor” lies in the flavor.

Mid-Late ripening, it will reach its ultimate flavor and sweetness when given long, hot summers to fully ripen its fruits.
