Sweet Beginnings Mulberry

Price range: $39.99 through $59.99

Discovered in 2018 during a walk through the Highlands of Louisville, Kentucky, Sweet Beginnings Mulberry is believed to be a native red mulberry (Morus rubra). This remarkable tree produces abundant crops of long, plump berries with a wonderfully sweet flavor. The fruit is delicious when fully red and becomes even sweeter as it ripens to a deep purple.

The name Sweet Beginnings carries a personal meaning. After coming home from the hospital following a routine stay, this mulberry became part of a milestone moment for my son. At the time, he was not yet eating by mouth, so seeing him bring this fruit to his lips and experience its taste for the first time was an unforgettable joy. The photo captures that excitement—the beginning of a new chapter and a sweet reminder of how far he had come.

We are honored to share this special selection as a celebration of perseverance, hope, and the simple sweetness found in nature.
