KSU Benson™ Pawpaw is the second release by Kentucky State University. It is an excellent, high yielding, disease-resistant cultivar. KSU Benson™ Pawpaw produces unusually round, blemish free, medium-large sized fruits. The dark yellow flesh has a pleasantly creamy, custard-like texture and is bursting with a delicious banana/mango/pineapple flavor. This cultivar is a great choice for places with cooler/shorter summers. Ripens early season.
