An Heirloom Variety with Exceptional Flavor

Taytwo (Taytoo) pawpaw was selected from the wild by Corwin Davis of Eaton Rapids, MI in 1968. It is considered an “heirloom” pawpaw with fruit that has especially light-green skin and the traditional yellow pawpaw flesh.

A cold-hardy cultivar, it produces high yields of medium sized (4-8 ounce) fruits. The Taytwo (Taytoo) pawpaw fruit has a custardy texture and is considered to have an exceptional flavor comparable to tropical/vanilla custard. Ripens early-season.
